Jim Morrison once sang “this is the strangest life I’ve ever known” and I completely agree with him on this one.

Two years ago I sadly split with my girlfriend of six years… just after we had bought a house together. Due to the nightmare that is the British housing market, we haven’t been able to sell the afore mentioned house and that is why we find ourselves living together as we once did, only we are more house mates than life partners. It works well for us, she has her space and I have mine.

All the bad feeling has past under the bridge and I have forgiven her for what happened; it seems she is moving on and I am happy for her but it has made me think that maybe it’s time that I moved on.

I have so few notches on my bedpost that I thought it was maybe time to try some new things, to taste and explore different women and maybe on this road of recklessness find someone who makes me happy.

I am 24 and I think it’s time that found out just what the world has to offer a guy like me.
